Designing an urban safari

Fleetwood designs bespoke ‘Safari Tower’ and play space for the City of Parramatta

Fleetwood is thrilled to collaborate with our client City of Parramatta for a new outdoor play space located at John Wearn Reserve in North Rocks, NSW.

Designed exclusively by Fleetwood Urban for the council, our Safari Play Tower concept will evoke the savannas of Africa with sizes, shapes, and textures providing a “truly wild” ambiance for those who love the outdoors.

Fleetwood and the City of Parramatta have collaborated closely on accessibility, safety, and fun activities for the playspace. This has delivered a truly seamless design process with an exciting finished result that will be of great benefit to local residents.

This upfront planning, coupled with Fleetwood’s expertise in the outdoor play space, helps bring our client’s vision to life, encouraging exploration and imaginative play while inspiring a sense of wonder toward our natural environment.

And there are certainly many adventures to look forward to soon, with the Safari Tower project completion due by the end of 2019!
